During my residency at Bewaerschole, I walked the path from Westenschouwen to Burgh that lies between the village and the dune area. In doing so, I had the village side on one hand, the side man has made his own, where people live and recreate. The other side is nature, the dune and forest area. We can see the path between them as a boundary between the two worlds. But this is certainly not a hard border. On both sides we find traces of animals living in the area, but humans also leave their footprints on both sides of the path. While walking along the path, I recorded things that catched my eye through photography and collected the stories I encountered.
